Konica Minolta wanted to be able to ensure the safety of their machines and partnered with the world’s most respected “white-hat” hacking division of NTT Data (formerly Perot Systems).

Konica Minolta offered NTT tens of thousands of dollars if they could successfully breach KMBS Bizhub hardware. To make it even easier for NTT Data, KMBS provided them with the Konica Minolta Bizhub source code.
